This was our first venture into wide screen monitors and it took a bit of getting used to.
When you first use the monitor everything is stretched to fit the screen, you have to go to your control panel, display settings, and reset the screen resolution to the highest pixels, then everything changes to fit and no more stretching.
The picture quality is clear and sharp, but we have noticed 3 weeks on, that suddenly all the letters in words look like they do when ink is running out on printed text. They seem blurred. We switched the monitor off and on again and this seems to have cured it. If this problem persists, we will return it for replacement, other than this though, we can't fault the monitor for the price, it's certainly better than the lap top one we are used to, and the wide screen allows for more visibly, which means I may pinch it off my other half when I do my music recording! It's sleek, feels sturdy and you can tilt the screen with ease, the controls to adjust the picture are easy to access and understand. -- Easy to set up, good quality, need to change resolution settings
While not the greatest screen in the world, it is outstanding for the price. I happily play games on it, browse the internet and watch movies and TV. Highly recommended. -- Great for the price
For the money it's fine, but small text is a little fuzzy and the screen on my laptop is noticeably clearer.
I would recommend getting a digital screen i.e. one with a DVI connection for extra clarity.

Having had an old 'square' monitor I was dreading having a widescreen one. In the end it only took a day to get used to it. My grandson was a bit alarmed that the photograph of his face on my desktop was very enlongated. Having changed the settings and he is now in proportion he is won over with my new acquisition! I would definitely buy a Dell again; hopefully not for a few years. It is great not to have to use the bottom slider to read anything on the righthand side of the screen. -- Dell IN2010N 20inch computer monitor
Highly recomend buying this monitor, i currently have it used as a monitor for my xbox 360 and the picture quality is great -- Great Price and great quality
